TourVila is a free, independent India travel guide. We collect as little personal information as possible — essentially only what you choose to send us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.

What we collect

• Messages you send us: if you use the contact form, we receive your name, email, optional phone number and message.
• Newsletter sign-ups: the email address you submit, if you subscribe.
• Basic usage data: anonymous analytics such as pages viewed and device type, to improve the guides.

We do not sell products, take payments, or knowingly collect data from children.

How we use it

We use your information only to reply to your enquiries, send the newsletter you asked for, and understand which guides are useful so we can improve them. We never sell your data, and we don't send marketing you didn't request.

Cookies & analytics

We may use privacy-friendly analytics cookies to measure traffic in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the guides will still work. Map, font and image resources may be loaded from third parties (see below).

Third-party links

Our package comparisons and resources link to independent websites (for example MakeMyTrip, Thomas Cook, Yatra, GetYourGuide, IRCTC and Incredible India). Once you leave TourVila, their own privacy policies apply. We're not responsible for their content or practices.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you've shared, or unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Just email us and we'll act on reasonable requests promptly.
